We are grateful for all of the care our volunteers provide for our therapy horses, participants and our wonderful old horse farm. They are such an integral part of our culture at Hickory Top Farm. Our horses depend on the dedicated hands and hearts that care for them every day. Our participants rely on the consistent and trusting relationships they have with their volunteer team.
Volunteer Opportunities

Horse Care
Volunteers on our horse care team assist with daily feeding and grooming of our horses.

Programs
Program volunteers help in therapeutic riding lessons as horse leaders or side walkers.

Fundraising
These volunteers are dedicated to promoting awareness of Hickory Top Farm’s mission and vision while also assisting with fundraising initiatives.

Office / Admin
Opportunities for administrative and program support in the Hickory Top Farm office are readily available.

Facilities
Hickory Top Farm is always looking for volunteers to help paint pasture fencing and assist with ongoing maintenance needs & projects at the barn and its pastures.

Scout Projects
Many opportunities are available for designing and implementing an Eagle Scout project. Candidates may schedule a time to meet with the Hickory Top Farm Director to discuss options.
Volunteer opportunities are available to meet the BSA rank requirements for conservation hours which include trail clearing, gardening, land & wildlife conservation.
